Game Recap

The Guerin Catholic Freshman Boy’s Basketball team played their first game of the 2017-18 season against the Zionsville Eagles on Thursday night. Despite getting 10 points from Joseph Bobilya and eight points from Kaleb Edwards, the Golden Eagles fell in defeat 36-32. The Golden Eagles held Zionsville to 15 first-half points with a staunch defensive effort. Despite playing from behind for three quarters, Guerin Catholic took the lead in the fourth. Zionsville tied the game in the fourth quarter to send it to overtime and eventually overcame the Golden Eagles by holding them scoreless in the overtime period.

Guerin Catholic’s next opponent is Lafayette Harrison. The Raiders are 3-1 on the season, with their only defeat coming in their first game this season vs. Zionsville. Game is Saturday, December 9th, at 10:00am in the Guerin Catholic High School gymnasium.
