Game Recap

Guerin Catholic Junior Varsity Boys fall on the road for the second straight game to Pendleton Heights High School 48-44.

The Golden Eagles struggled to find a rhythm in their second last game of the season. Defensive let downs and struggling on the offensive side of the court plagued the Golden Eagles for most of the game. Pendleton Heights jumped out to a lead early and was able to hold it for the entire game. Pendleton had more energy at the beginning of the game and the Golden Eagles were never able to bounce back.

The Golden Eagles managed to score just 19 points in the first half and found themselves down five at halftime. The only quarter the Golden Eagles managed to win was the third as they scored 11 to Pendleton’s 10 points. Sophomores Kameron Osswald and Christian Gelov really led the charge back scoring a combined 9 of the 11 points in the quarter.

Junior Roc Ricker led the charge in the fourth quarter but ultimately due to some late game turnovers the Golden Eagles fell for their second straight loss on the road.

The Junior Varsity Golden Eagles travel to Anderson on Tuesday for their final game of the season.
