The indoor season came to a close on a snowy, icy Saturday morning in Bloomington at the HSR “Indoor State Championship!”
3 New Indoor School Records were set and 1 was tied!
Quinn Gallagher shattered the indoor 3200 meter record by over 15 seconds on his way to a 4th place finish (9:22.73)!
Reagan Ney tied her indoor pole vault record on her way to a 6th place finish (9’6″)!
The 4×400 meter relay team of Claire Sherfick, Grace Gjerde, Emily Zlatniski, and Ellie Schroeder broke the indoor school record by almost 1 1/2 seconds on their way to a 7th place finish (4:15.07)!
Anna Hallett broke the indoor long jump record by adding 3 more inches to it on her way to an 8th place finish (16’2″)!
Both 4×200 meter relay teams made the podium by finishing in 8th place!
Jordan Chang, Dylan Crossen, Cameron Murray and Max Horrigan just missed the indoor school record by 0.16 seconds by running 1:35.75!
Anna Jacoby, Claire Sherfick, Grace Gjerde, and Emily Zlatniski ran an impressive 1:52.17!
The girls’ 4×800 meter relay team of Raegan Bohbrink, Sophia Woods, Delaney Klee and Amanda Schafer just missed the podium with a 9th place finish!
The boys’ Distance Medley Relay team of Joe Joe Barrett, Jordan Chang, Holden King and Quinn Gallagher finished the day in 11th place!
The girls’ Distance Medley Relay team of Raegan Bohbrink, Anna Jacoby, Delaney Klee and Ellie Schroeder ran to a 16th place finish!
The teams begin their outdoor season today at Chatard High School (March 28th)
